Communicating effectively to enhance the transfer of financial wisdom and appeal to generational values
In order to pass on financial wisdom, conversations between generations are crucial. These conversation should occur amongst family members and between registered financial planners and clients. Our presentation to the IAFP symposium will highlight the different values of each generation and make recommendations, based on research, for how these conversations can be improved. We have examined the current financial planning industry and recognize the period of change that it is undergoing. We will make recommendations for how the industry can adapt and pivot to succeed in this changing world with younger generations.
