Baris Ozyetis

Baris is responsible for the development and management of Mackenzie’s growing and robust shelf of sustainable solutions focused on thematic and impact mutual funds and ETFs. In his role, Baris regularly liaises with a wide range of stakeholders to bring to market ideas that will resonate with Canadian investors and promotes the performance plus impact proposition of Mackenzie’s sustainable solutions.

He joined Mackenzie Investments in 2016 to lead the inside sales teams in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.

Baris is an advocate for several causes across Mackenzie. From 2018-2020, he was co-chair and a key member of Mackenzie’s Green Committee, a committee focused on raising awareness and action for the environment. In 2020, he became a member of Mackenzie’s Partners-in-Action Committee focused on promoting gender diversity. In 2021, he was named co-chair of this committee.

Baris has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto, majoring in Economics.
