Biography
Leading the Croesus Lab research team, Maxime investigates the transformative impact of new technologies on the financial industry. His team’s work spans a diverse range of fields, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), operations research, and cryptography. Maxime’s work focuses particularly on large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, integrating these cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative solutions in wealth management. Maxime earned his PhD in Software Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal in 2015 and also holds a master’s degree in IT and a bachelor’s degree in software engineering.
On a personal note, Maxime is also passionate about music. He has performed in various wind orchestras and big bands over the years, particularly on baritone saxophone and bass clarinet. He also practices karate with his son.
