Matt joined Leith Wheeler in 2024, bringing over 10 years of experience in the financial industry. He previously focused on private client investment and wealth strategies at RBC Dominion Securities and RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel. Prior to his career in finance, Matt dedicated over 20 years pursuing his passion for soccer, which led him to be part of the Whitecaps Prospect Team and Canadian Youth National Team. He later earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of the Fraser Valley, where he also played on the varsity soccer team. Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. Outside of work, he maintains an active lifestyle, participating in various sports. Matt contributes to his community by volunteering in the classroom at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), where he helps educate and mentor students; as a Board member for the UFV Alumni Association and as an active member of the Fraser Valley Estate Planning Council.
