Emily Burt

Emily is the Executive Vice-President and Chair of the Board at Cardinal Capital Management, Inc. a portfolio management firm that manages over $4B in assets.  With 20 years of experience in the investment industry, she works with institutional and private clients across Canada and the United States to build and manage their investment portfolios.  Emily also leads the business development and operations teams at Cardinal.

Emily has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  Emily currently serves as the Past President of CFA Society Winnipeg and is a board member for CFA Societies Canada. Emily also enjoys volunteering within the arts community and is a current board member for the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.

Emily enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, with hobbies including running, yoga, spin, and scuba diving.
