Gord Ross

Gord Ross has joined Capital Direct Management Ltd. as the Regional Vice President, Sales for Central Canada.  Gord’s goal is to work with many Investment Advisors across Central Canada who see the real value that the Capital Direct 1 Income Trust can help provide to Canadian investors.

Gord brings 20+ years of experience in the asset management industry, the majority of which has been spent in direct sales, or sales leadership, roles.

Prior to joining Capital Direct Gord held the position of Chief Sales Officer and Head of Canadian Distribution for W.A. Robinson Asset Management.  Gord also served as the Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager for Fiera Investments as well as Natixis Investment Managers Canada Ltd overseeing the national sales teams at each of these firms.

Prior to that Gord had spent many years as a Regional Vice President, Sales for a number of Asset Managers, including CIBC Asset Management, Guardian Capital, and Natixis Investment Managers Canada Ltd.

Gord is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a major in Economics, and he also maintains his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

When he’s not working, Gord likes to stay active with his partner, Jennifer, and their two Weimaraner’s, Remington and Luna.  Family gatherings that include all of their busy adult children, Lily, Gracie, Keara and Brayden, are sure to put a smile on Gord’s face.  He enjoys travelling and spending the summer months at their island cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Couchiching.
